Do you also offer suitable posts for mounting?
For all railings, fences, and garden and yard gates, we offer suitable posts for secure mounting on all surfaces. All posts are available in various coatings. Choose from uncoated, hot-dip galvanised, and powder-coated (anthracite - DB 703) finishes to match your fence, gate, or railing system.
Are your gates compatible with electric gate systems?
Our wrought iron driveway gates from ELEO Express can easily be retrofitted with an electric drive. Should you wish, we would be happy to put you in touch with an installation company that can independently and responsibly install the gate, including the electric drive, for you.
Can a double-leaf gate be divided asymmetrically?
That's no problem. The asymmetrical layout is particularly recommended if you also plan to access your property on foot through the gate. The smaller entrance gate is very practical for this purpose, as it is easier to open.
Do you also manufacture your products to order?
In addition to our stock of wrought iron fences, balcony railings, privacy screens, and gates, which we sell through this online shop, we offer a wide range of other models at eleo-fence.co.uk, which are completely custom-made. All our products can be configured online here, and we will manufacture your fence and gate system, as well as your balcony or terrace railing, precisely according to your wishes and dimensions.

We regularly deliver to all of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Deliveries to other European countries are also possible upon request.
Where can I pick up the products myself?
You are welcome to pick up your product on site by prior arrangement and can also pay in cash if you wish.

Coating
What coatings do you offer for your products?
You can choose between four finishes:
- powder-coated (anthracite)
- hot-dip galvanised
- untreated (pig iron/weathering steel)
- powder-coated special colour (RAL 9005, 9010, 7016, 6005)

What advantages do the different types of coatings offer?

How does untreated iron acquire its typical rust patina?
After some time, the surface of untreated products develops a vibrant rust patina, as the chemical process of oxidation begins when exposed to moisture. Despite the onset of corrosion, we guarantee the highest material stability with this variant.

In addition to our stock of wrought iron fences, balcony railings, and gates, which we sell through this online shop, we offer a wide range of other models at www.eleo-fence.co.uk, which are completely custom-made.
Material
What material are your products made of?
We use high-quality steel and wrought iron for our handcrafted products. The crossbeams of our products are solidly constructed and guarantee high stability. The diameter of the bars varies depending on the product. Generally, we use 10 mm or 12 mm for our solid bars and 16 mm for our hollow tube versions. All product-specific information can be found on the respective product pages in the "Technical Data" section.
How long do wrought iron products last?
An accurate prediction of the durability of wrought iron products is difficult. Depending on the workpiece's location, varying environmental conditions prevail, which affect the material to varying degrees. We generally offer the highest possible product quality, the gradual corrosion of which is either desired (patina) or protected long-term from weathering by our coating options (hot-dip galvanising and powder coating).
How susceptible is the material to weather conditions?
For workpieces ordered from us untreated, traces of corrosion will become visible over time. The development of such a rust patina is generally desired by customers. This rust-red patina is known as noble rust and gives your chosen piece a classic, romantic look. If you require long-lasting corrosion protection, we recommend a hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated finish. Both surface coatings withstand weathering for many decades.

Do I need any additional materials to assemble your products?
Some products do not include mounting hardware with the ordered goods. This is because the choice of mounting hardware depends heavily on your mounting surface and environment. Therefore, you may need additional materials. You can find information about this in the respective Mounting Instructions. If you are still unsure, please feel free to contact our customer service!
Is it possible for laypersons to assemble your products?
